Coming to Panama City Beach next month is the amazing, the anticipated and the most biker friendly free rally in the US – Thunder Beach.
Put on by Thunder Beach Productions, the 2016 Autumn Rally is coming up next month, October 19 through the 23rd. Events, activities, parades, and contests will be held all over Panama City Beach for five days. Special events include the Miss Thunder Beach, Ms. Thunder Beach, tattoo contests, poker runs and bike parades. Of course, nearly everything is free and just about every business and restaurant in Panama City Beach is offering something fun to go along with this coveted rally.
Friday Oct 14 – Tuesday Oct 18
Although the true kickoff happens on October 19, things start happening on Friday, October 14 with live music at 11:30 AM at the Giant Tent Sale. Sus Mathers and Jesse Jones will be performing. On Saturday, October 15 oh be live music from the artist Jace Smith, and October 16 will be the Jesse Jones music again followed by the Giant Tent Sale on those Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18.
Thunder Beach Kick-Off
Wednesday is when it all kicks off with the official factory demo rides setting at 9:00 AM. This will be followed by live music at the HD East and HD West. The official Thunder Beach kickoff party will happen at 7:00 PM at Back While live music. Followed by the official.
Miss Thunder Beach pageant and live music by Mustang Sally starting at 8:00 PM until 12 AM
The things really get hopping on Thursday, October 20 with demo rides, live music all day long at multiple venues and stages throughout Panama City Beach and the second form in every Ms. Bender Beach Pageant goes underway. At 9:00 PM there’s a free concert featuring the Marshall Tucker band.
Friday things get even more packed with demo rides, contests hosted by American Bagger Magazine, of course, a live music and judging for the concerts, tattoo contests happening at 2:00 PM. At 6:00 PM is the LED contest registration and the third preliminary of the Miss Vendor Beach Pageant at 7:00 PM. Also at seven is a free concert by Jasmine Cain, followed by another free concert by the Atlanta Rhythm Selection at 9:30 PM.
Saturday kicks off at 9:00 AM with factory demo rides from the Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach followed by the Sgt. Kevin Kight, Memorial Bank parade at 10:00 AM across the street from back at the corner of Jackson Boulevard and Middle Beach. The bike parade begins at 11:00 AM with registration starting for the “Best of the Beach” custom bike show hosted by the Southern Biker Magazine. Also starting at 11:00 AM is live music at Harley-Davidson East and West with judging for the bank show, live music all afternoon and the official Ms.Thunder Beach contest for ladies 35 and over. Awards will be given for the “Best of Beach” bike show at 4:00 PM with live music happening all evening until 12:00 AM with the official Miss Bender Beach Pageant Finale at 7:00 PM. Interest-free concerts, Harley-Davidson is and much, much more.
Things wrap up on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 AM with the Blessing of the Bikes, live music and escorted scenic ride starting at 10:30 AM featuring a 200 mile ride benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. There’s a $10 per person donation accepted in the lineup starts at 10:30 AM. Music will still run until 12:00 PM.

Of course, Panama City Beach will have dozens of shops, restaurants, and markets all offering discounts and promotions throughout the week. All bikers are welcome and whether you’re writing or not, it’s a great way to see the newest trend in motorcycles, enjoy some awesome food and mingle with some of the friendliest bikers in the country.
