February through June and August through November are usually some of the busiest times as people are getting out of the cold weather in other parts of the country and heading to Florida with crystal blue and green waters, white sugary sandy beaches and hot sunshine.

Legacy by the Sea is one of the more popular places to stay with oceanview properties, large rooms and family-friendly locations. The Beachside Resort is also a popular check-in spot with rates starting at just $125 depending on the season and time of year. Sandpiper Begin Beach Resort is a relaxing place to stay right on the ocean with stunning sunset views, dining options, swimming pools and more resort style amenities.
If you’re going for a beachfront property you want to find someplace that offers a balcony with magnificent ocean views. Many of these oceanfront hotels feature a variety of amenities including swimming pools, kitchenette rooms, washers and dryers, microwaves and refrigerators, additional housekeeping options, air-conditioning, coffee makers, hot tubs and spas, pools specifically designed for children, gardens, complimentary breakfasts and dining options.

There are several campgrounds and RV parks close to the Gulf of Mexico and several are right on the beach north and south of downtown. Most of the campgrounds will feature power but if you’re looking to really get back to nature, there are several that feature very low modern conveniences. Whether you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton of campgrounds or a tent on the beach, there are a variety of options for you to choose from. Certain campgrounds include Campers Inn, the Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort and the Raccoon River Campground, one of the most popular campgrounds in the area. Of course you’re welcome to stay at the St. Andrews State Park Campsites if you prefer the traditional and familiar status of a state park.
Panama City Beach Florida Vacation Rentals
And then of course you have several condominium vacation rentals all up and down the beach in Panama City Beach Florida. These condominium rentals are typically owned by one or two families that rent the units out on a daily or weekly basis year-round. These will be found in resorts such as Majestic Beach Resort, Treasure Island, Grand Panama and Edgewater. These can range anywhere from $120 per night up to $500 per night based on size, luxury, furnishings and amenities.
