The Weather
It is Florida so naturally everybody wants to know about the weather. As with most areas we do cool down between December and February with highs topping out at about 65° and lows in the mid 50s. Our hottest months are June through September with highs around 90 and lows in the lower to mid 70s. We have a total population of about 171,000 residents with about 70,000 total households. Our sugary sandy beaches are produced from quartz crystals washing down from the Appalachian Mountains centuries ago. This provides a gorgeous backdrop for our year-round and vacation residents.
Events
We have events year-round from Seabreeze Jazz festivals in spring to Marathon runs in December and dozens of events all year long. Our Chamber of Commerce has an active social calendar so make sure you check with the website for check back here for special events and activities.
